Windsor Dog Park Rules

Dog Park Rules and Town of Windsor ordinances must be obeyed

  1. Dogs that exhibit aggressive behavior are not allowed in the park.
  2. Dogs must be removed immediately at the first sign of aggression.
  3. All animal to human bites must be reported to the Town of Windsor Animal Control.
  4. All dogs must display valid dog license and vaccination tags.
  5. No dogs under 6 months of age are allowed.
  6. All dogs must be neutered.  Female doges in heat and dogs with fresh wounds are not permitted.
  7. Dogs must be on a leash when entering and exiting the off-leash area.
  8. No dogs allowed within the off-leash area while restrained by a leash.
  9. Spiked collars are not allowed.
  10. Children under the age of 10 are not allowed in the off-leash area.
  11. Children between the age of 10-16 must be accompanied by and adult.
  12. Handlers must be a minimum of 16 years old.
  13. Handlers must "scoop the poop" and dispose of waste in the provided containers.
  14. No food, beverage or smoking allowed.
  15. Park hours - Dawn to Sunset.
